Hoepfner Joins FBFC
OCONOMOWOC—First Bank Financial
Centre welcomes Bob Hoepfner as vice
president-commercial lender in its Grafton
office. He has extensive experience in com-
mercial and industrial banking, commercial
real estate lending, private banking, and
medical and dental practice banking.
Macke Retires at Wis. Business
Development
MONONA— John Macke has retired as vice
president-loan servicing officer at Wisconsin
Business Development after serving WBD
for 20 years. He began work as a portfolio
manager in 1994 when the portfolio was less
than 300 loans totaling $80 million. Today,
the portfolio has grown to more than 1,300
loans totaling over $670 million.
Promotions at WaterStone
WAUWATOSA—WaterStone Bank has promoted Becky
Krueger to community president of its Waukesha branch.
She joined the bank in 2003 and most recently served as
assistant branch manager at the Wauwatosa office.
Shannon Loper is the new community president at the
Oconomowoc/Lake Country branch. She joined WaterStone
in 2013 as a personal banker and most recently served as a
relationship banker.
The Business Bank Promotes Two to SVP
APPLETON—Scott Yukel and Laurie Olson were promoted
to senior vice presidents at The Business Bank.
Yukel, who works in the Appleton office, has 25 years of
banking experience. He’s been with The Business Bank since
2005.
Olson works in the Green Bay office. She joined the bank
in 2008 with more than 20 years of banking experience.
President Position
United Bancorporation, a multi-state, multi-bank holding com-
pany af liated with the John T. Vucurevich Foundation, is searching
for a president for its $60,000,000 north central Wisconsin bank.
Candidates must be able to provide ethical and competent
leadership, direction, and control to ensure sustained pro tability
for shareholders.
Candidates must also have strong communication skills and be
able to work effectively and proactively with the board of directors,
bank staff, holding company, and af liated banks.
Another essential function is to lead the bank’s staff and board
in delivering the commitment to provide customers with excep-
tional service and quality products.
Requirements include appropriate education and extensive
experience in the banking industry.
Abilities include:
• New business development;
• Effective decisions regarding lending, investments, and opera-
tional matters;
• Solve problems;
• Strategic plan development, innovation, and business acumen
to achieve strategic initiatives;
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements;
• Actively participate and positively represent the bank in the
community;
• Oversight of all activities associated with outsourced services,
pro tability, and risk management.
